Investment Focus
The investment focus is broadly information technology. We continue to be focused on finding opportunities in three major areas where we know we can contribute to the success of teams: mobile, SaaS and the cloud.
We are always open to hearing from passionate entrepreneurs and learning about new areas to invest as our investment focus shifts as markets evolve and mature. We work as a team at Storm as Managing Directors and all of us together understand information technology well both from a business and technical vantage point.
The two most important criteria for us in making new early stage investments are the team and the market. As a result, we also put an emphasis on understanding who the end user customers are and what compelling value new companies can bring to them.
Historically, the investments we make range from as little as $100,000 to $3,000,000 and we take significant reserves so that we can support our companies as they grow and become more successful.
