Most recently, Craig was Chief Executive Officer at Anchor Bay Technologies. Anchor Bay supplies video processing systems and semiconductors to the home theater marketplace, and to tier one consumer video product manufacturers. During his tenure there, he raised $10M in venture capital, and grew the company’s revenues from $3M to over $20M per year by securing top tier design wins for the company’s video processing semiconductor line. Prior to Anchor Bay, he was the Chief Executive Officer of Core Networks, Inc. Core Networks was a privately held company supplying operational support system software (OSS) to the cable and telecommunication industries. Core was backed by several successful venture capital companies. In this capacity, he led the company’s strategic and financial development, and product direction. He successfully sold the company to SupportSoft Inc. in September 2004. Formerly, he served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Com21. Com21 was a public company which designed and manufactured cable modems and other broadband internet access equipment for cable television operators and service providers. He successfully led the company in a financial and strategic turnaround. Prior to joining Com21, Mr. Soderquist served as Vice President / General Manager of VLSI’s Consumer Semiconductor Division, the leading supplier of set-top box semiconductors for Europe and a major ASIC supplier to the U.S. cable modem market. Soderquist’s previous experience includes over 20 years of experience in the communications industry serving as President of Utah Scientific, a telecommunications equipment provider, and as Vice president of new business development for General Instrument, where he played a key role in leading GI into the cable modem market. Soderquist also served as Vice President and General Manager of Grass Valley Group’s (a former subsidiary of Tektronix) broadcast routing and telecommunications division. Soderquist holds a BSEE degree from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology and a Masters Degree in Telecommunication Business Management from the University of Colorado. |
